Let's Give Up on the Constitution

We all agree that the American system of government is broken. But what exactly is broken? According to Louis Siedman, it's the Constitution that is holding us back.  The principles in the Constitution brought us limited government, separation of powers and representative government. These three things created the largest, freest, and longest lasting democratic republic, why would we blame our problems on the Constitution?
